JPT and PLEXERA Announce Distribution & Collaboration Agreement
Guangzhou, China - February 17th, 2015. Plexera Biotechnology Ltd., exclusively representing Plexera LLC, and JPT Peptide Technologies GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BioNTech AG, today announced finalization of a distribution and collaboration agreement. The agreement provides for distribution of JPT’s innovative peptide-based products and services to the Chinese immunotherapy, vaccine and proteomics markets. Furthermore, the partnership promotes the development of peptide-based applications on the PlexArray® HT, Plexera’s high-throughput proteomics screening platform. “This partnership represents a strategic cornerstone in our continued efforts to address all major global markets with our broad portfolio of proprietary and high quality products for the discovery of novel biomarkers and the development of immunotherapies and vaccines” said Holger Wenschuh, CEO of JPT. PLEXERA® Launches Lectin Array Chip
Woodinville, Washington – June 24, 2013 – Plexera®, LLC, a worldwide provider of label-free surface plasmon resonance imaging (SPRi) technology solutions for functional proteomics, announced today the launch of the Lectin Array Chip for high throughput glycoprofiling and biomarker discovery. The Lectin Array Chip leverages the PlexArray® HT's high throughput, label-free, SPRi platform for rapid characterization and quantification of glycosylation in protein samples. Dysregulation of glycoprotein is associated with a wide range of diseases including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. The detection of deregulated glycosylation has been recognized as a hallmark for cancer biomarker discovery; however, the complexity of the glycome can be a challenge to comprehensive research in this field. The Lectin Array Chip is the first of its kind to provide researchers tools to sort the complexity of the glycome.

PLEXERA® Launches Contract Research Services Business
Seattle, Washington – January 14, 2013 – Plexera®, LLC, a worldwide provider of label-free surface plasmon resonance imaging (SPRi) technology solutions for functional proteomics, announced today the official launch of its contract research effort based at the Institute for Systems Biology(ISB) in offices of Plexera LLC. We will perform advanced kinetic interaction analysis on either customer provided samples or Plexera provided targets and libraries.

Shipments and Patents
The company also announced it has manufactured and shipped its 18th PlexArray® HT system since launched in 2011 and has been awarded its 11th patent surrounding the SPRi technology. “We are very pleased with the depth of our patent portfolio and the ever increasing inventory of application developments we have made over the last year.” Says Dr. Jinsong Zhu, CEO, Plexera LLC. “As indicated by customer interest the HT application for interaction studies is certainly an emerging commercial technology today.”
Plexera Launches the PlexArray® HT System
Plexera launched its flagship product, the PlexArray® HT System at the past
Society for Biomolecular Sciences (SBS) conference in Orlando, Florida and
the 2012 SLAS conference in San Diego, California. A working model of the
system was featured and both events were very successful for the company in
its efforts to build awareness of the system and their best-in-class high
throughput SPR technology.
